The MECA V4 metering unit is equipped with a planting system with shoes. It’s design offers two types of depth control: Front gauge wheel or balancing system. 
On the MECA V4 « Front depth control » metering unit the depth control is done by the front wheel.

The MECA V4 metering unit is equipped with a planting system with shoes. It’s design offers two types of depth control: Front gauge wheel or balancing system.
On the MECA V4 « Balancing system » metering unit the depth control is done by the front wheel and the rear wheels.

The MECA V4 range is now marketed in an electirc driven version, MECA V4E:
